Last Lecture

Take your time
and live life full…

Put on your headscarf,
dress and act modestly
cuz Allah loves those
who are part of a universal ummah.

See the birds sing and pray,
see yourself praying and fasting,
cuz Allah loves those
who worship him.

Guide the young
and help the poor,
those are the ones Allah loves.

Be yourself, a Muslim…
Strive through the struggles you face
cuz Allah loves all.

Strive to do a good deed
every minute, every hour
even a smile,
to keep Allah pleased with us.

"Good deeds are not equal to the evil ones. Repel other's evil deeds with your good deeds. You will see that he with whom you had enmity, will become your close friend.
But none will attain this quality except those who patiently endure and none will attain this quality except those who are truly fortunate."
