"Good deeds are not equal to the evil ones. Repel other's evil deeds with your good deeds. You will see that he with whom you had enmity, will become your close friend.
But none will attain this quality except those who patiently endure and none will attain this quality except those who are truly fortunate."

jazakiAllahu khayr for sharing ukhti but i must let you know that the above speaker is a well known sufi preacher of the West from Zaytuna Institute in California. I am only saying this because its important to know the background and aqeedah of who we take our deen from and to know what to take from them and what not to.

Islam is the sunnah and the sunnah is Islam!

I have never heard this Imam call himself a sufi nor has a relative of mine who is studying fiqh with the Imam. Whatever someone calls themselves -sufi,salafi, progressive, etc. They will always remain astray if they arenot following the sunnah of our beloved messenger, pbuh. May Allah bless this Imam. And may Allah guide me every nearer to the straight path then this.
